This is nonsense. The BBC did a sting operation against Hinduja brothers in 2005 for supplying Ashok Leyland trucks to Africa, but then caved in under government pressure and dropped it.

Something similar has happened here too. The reporters and channel should follow the example of the BBC producer and leak the footage into the public domain like Radia tapes.

Private: Shall immdly send you and everyone else who emailed me the
list with papers once first episode of sting series is telecast.
Telecast is delayed because defamation suit with stay has been filed
in India by one Central Information Commissioner who is caught on
camera with registry staff soliciting and accepting bribe. series
producers are planning to move Supreme Court or High Court. Also MK
informs visa of 2 foreign experts was revoked at last moment when they
landed in India and their equpments like microcams seized.

Private: Can send it to you only on or after 15 Dec 2010. BBC and
CNN-IBN are doing an investigative telecast on this on 14-Dec-2010 and
have tied up with HT and Tribune. Can send you about 50 undisclosed
names in advance though slightly in advance of telecast on
non-exclusive basis.
