Central Information Commissioner Annapurna Dixit is expected to submit her resignation to the President within this week. Sources close to the development indicate Ms. Dixit has been selected as member of the Central Vigilance Commission at New Delhi.
Ms. Dixit, the senior most Central Information Commissioner for Right to Information, was passed over for appointment yesterday as Chief Information Commissioner of India by the bipartisan selection committee established under chairmanship of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
