Re: II Re: [HumJanenge] Mr. Rahul Gandhi - thats what we are also saYING

Hi Sarbajit,

A few days ago you flamed at another members unprofessional use of language in the group mails and at another time when your point of view is contradicted.

Mr R Srinivasan: you being an advocate would know how even the clerks in the court need money to do the work they are required to be doing .
Hundreds of those poor lower bureaucrats you mention, pay bribe to get a plum posting and then justify their corruption because they need to break even and make a profit.

There will not be. 100% concurrence on the movement. Even for the Independence Movement, there were thousands of Indians, many employed or enjoying British Patronage, used to ridicule the freedom fighters.

I do not expect the import of what has happenned, to register to you just yet. For some people, it will take some time to realize. However, you and your families will reap the benefits.

Cheers

Dear Mr. Rahul Gandhi:
In your speech today in parliament you said that Janlokpal bill in itself will not remove corruption.

Thats what we are also saying.  Thats why in addition to LP bill,

-- Election reforms wherein anyone who is charge sheeted should be barred from standing for elections

-- Revoke the Single Point Directive

-- Make CBI independent

-- Increase the number of judges 3 or five-fold as per Law Commission recommendations of many years ago

-- Suitable amendments to Evidence Act, CrPC, CPC, etc. to balance the rights of the aggrieved V/s the rights of the accused

-- Police reforms as per the orders of SC many years ago

--Withdrawal of the principle King Can Do No Wrong

-- Enact specific Law of Torts against the wrongs of the state and its agents

-- Etc.

JP Ji and Friends:

This is the second time that I am sharing my views on this website -- but rerad every piece.

I could not agree with you more; it is about time that persons of some professional ability and senior position or age, realise what they "mean" when they refer to "Rahul JI" ! He is NOT the PM yet, not yet.

One has to do some tapasya, even attend the Parliament Meets regularly and learn what this amazing land and its myriad cultures are.

We left Lahore (I am now 77) to find a place in a divided India and have felt in recent years whether India of the independence days will change for better.
The last 3-6 months show that we have it in us BUT it will take a lot of sacrifice and tapasya before we get to be a country worthy of a Vivekananda, a Gabdhi and a Tagore.

  God Bless and Peace.

Dear Mr Rahul Gandhi,

It was so magnanimous of you to have acknowledged and thanked ANNA,
for having brought the issue of corruption centre stage

now that you and your party which is in OFFICE, though powerless, have
come to know that there is rampant corruption in your desh,I am
certain that the govt shall initiate action to eradicate it

i do not think that the cash for votes scam now and the one earlier
both during the congress regime is undermining the sanctity of the
parliament, or demeaning our democracy

Re: II Re: [HumJanenge] Mr. Rahul Gandhi - thats what we are also saYING

My response to a lawyer friend

Let us not view  every thing  with legal technicalities.
we have seen how the so called legal minds of govt ...sibal and PC, EM TY (manish tewari ) included, had screwed up the case and mis handled the situation.
because of all this, eventually congress ended up with shit on their face

All this could have been handled and solved with dignity and grace, with  a little display of statesmanship

Regarding National Flag, this is the national symbol, it denotes our existence as a nation, we live and die for for this...... it is this flag for which we shed our blood and life just for unfurling it on a enemy feature  during a conflict.
\Every citizen should have the right to use, demonstrate, and display this national symbol 24x7x365.
Yes any intentional disrespect should be dealt with seriously.

In so called developed countries of the west, flags are displayed on cars, hoisted on house tops, even worn on clothing / head gears... there are no restrictions

appreciate the positive impact of people's / anna's movement

Why pick up the crumps when the cake is there to share,.... enjoy the feast

-- Etc.

Dear Mr Srinivasan, the cap worn by Hazare and Gandhi/ Nehru
etc has been erroneously labelled as the "Gandhi" cap. It has
NOTHING to do with Gandhi. This was/ is the cap worn by the
common man, in rural areas throughout Maharashtra for quite a
few centuries. There is no branding to it, but being a dress
of the common man. It is in use commonly even today.

Could you explain this sentence "his branded T Shirts has in a
sense torpedoed the constitution". There are no "branded" T
shirts. Hazare's name is NOT Anna. "Anna" in Marathi means
Elder Brother ... It is a name given to him by his village.

There is a political party, using the tricolour as its symbol,
and flag. Not now, but for ages. Could something be done about
that first ? It is painful to see the tricolour lying all over
on roads and pavements, being soiled by dog litter after each
and every election major or minor. OTOH, flags being carried
by individuals becomes a case of "indiscriminate use" ?

Let us wait and see. Lower level bureaucrats are by no means
"poor" as of now, neither are any type of bureaucrat for that
matter, and neither are any of the politicians. What is the
basis for this surmise ?

Re: II Re: [HumJanenge] Mr. Rahul Gandhi - thats what we are also saYING

Dear Sh Srinivasan ji, people like you who advised the Govt as u r doing have all been grounded to dust. Kapil Sibal, Dr Abhishek Singhvi, Mr Chindram and so. They all had one thing in common, lawyers. Saner people like the PM, Pranab Mukherjee, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj nd so on have shown true statesmanship by acknowledging that yes it is the people who have sent us to serve them nd if we do not live up to the expectations, people would throw us out so badly that our political career will go I the dust any time.

Warm regards,

Anna Ha,teh bra nd ambassador  for Gandhi Cap which Gandhi himself abandoned, and his branded T Shirts has in a sense torpedoed the constitution.A case in the SupremeCourt after the lokpal bill of ANNA is passed will establish this,Kiran Bedi would have been the first to arrest him and prevent his gathering if in power as police officer has joined the band wagon .The indiscriminate use of the National Flag as if it is a party flag is in violation of the National Flag Act as it borders on disrespect.
The ultimate sufferer will be the poor lower level bureaucrat who will be an easy target and cannot defend himself. under the popular lokpal Bill
