Re: [HumJanenge] IAC leaders own corruption exposed !!

WIth this, the hope that the corruption can be eradicated, dwindles further down.

During her career as IPS officer, as she would have risen fro DSP to DG, Kiran would have have had many an occasions to countersign and authorise the reimbursements/ claims.

Her perception of a serious and no non sense IPS Officer, she would have rejected many, and surely given advice and stern warnings to may. That she has the gumption to show the mirror to politicians, time that she sees the mirror herself. Are there any of her IPS fraternity, that could defend her from Raipur reimbursement claim

All we need to do is to try and keep the Anna Energy still energetic.

Re: [HumJanenge] IAC leaders own corruption exposed !!

Principles are a matter of convinience to almost all high profile people. They can do no wrong. For all others "its always a matter of principles". For themselves nothing ever is.

What Kiran Bedi has done cannot be justified in any manner - knowingly or unknowingly, with consent or without.
It beats me, and so it would many others, as to how anyone can initiate a higher false claim when the fact is actual amount spent is a good deal less?

It also beats me as to how any one can prefer same false claim to two different authorities and claim from both ?

Its has to be pre-meditated and planned and seems to involve many monions down the chain who would rather dole out claimed amount and keep quiet. I only hope amount claimed isn't shared.

Can we strust such people to decide on Janlokpal Bill that affects millions of Indians ?

Not that my opinion matters, yet I was never convinced of Kiran Bedi's cause. Syaing in a high profile group is only to remain under spot light and everything else be damned.

Dear Ashok,

I am astonished at your stand. What Kiran Bedi has done is absolutely wrong. She has no right  to avail a concession and collect the full amount from the sponsors. Won't the creator God view it as immoral?  People who teach high morals  to soceity should not indulge in mal practices like this. They will lose their image in the eyes of the public As an Army officer, you too should be straightwforward and not avail what is not due to you.

I am shocked at the statements made by some people in defence of Mrs Kiran Bedi.
All thiefs and Docoits can say we took the money from rich and distributed to poor. So money has been used for person gains it is acceptable.
Whether the amount is Rs 10000 or Rs10000Cr  it is same. It is the greed and the capcity to swindle. If she could get Few Lakh crores she will still say that she has given to her NGO so she is Mrs Clean.
Please look inwards.
Jesus said only that person should throw stone who has not committed sin oneself.
All these people are sinners.
All NGOs as I have heard return 40-60% of amount back to agencies donating/allocating the amount. By that way none of the NGOs are clean and certainely are parasites on the society.
All these Anna Team people are running NGO's only.
Please consider with an unbiased mind.
I request also all parties not to express themselves in such harsh and unparliamentry langauge when discussing on this forum.
It appears peaople are using this forum to give vent to their feeling against individuals and not against a cause.

The constant targeting of team Anna especially the timing makes it evident that some blody Govt. Spies are against them. However when the blody spies did not find any substantive offenses, they are now trying to dent the images by making fuss of petty issues.

Did Ms. Bedi used the money for personal gain? Is the money of exchequers? By charging business class and traveling in economy what laws has she violated?

Its her prerogative to use the money the way she wants. If she would have donated the money to this man (Sarbjit Roy) then also there would have problem considering the fact that team anna is building pressure on govt.

Its the blody govt. spies useless fuss meant to dent the images of team anna.

Its common in public as well as govt. Sector, people who are eligible to travel in higher class travel in lower class and get them reimbursed with higher class fare. They are the owner of the difference amount and its absolutely ethical to use the money the way they want.

I still failed to understand what wrong Ms. Bedi has done. I salute team Anna the way they are bearing and withstanding immense pressure.

Re: [HumJanenge] IAC leaders own corruption exposed !!

      Dear Sir,
Please note that the NGOs have been established as a business. They will earn money. Yes, they say that their aim for the business to do some social work (based on YOUR donations). They have to maintain their organization in top form and hence their (internal) pay structire has to be worthy for that> All that it gets are donations and so that is the story. Please note that NGOs (for social obligations) is a basic requirement of Capitalism form of Economics policy. And accordingly this business form also originated in America and has shown its appearance in Bhaarat in recent period only.
If you refer to a recent issue (13 Jun 2011) of TIME newsmagazine (based on Cancer). There is an article about NGOs established for assistance to Cancer Research. They have illustrated examples of some NGOs collecting millions of dollars. In an year some have spent on research, hardly a few thousand dollars only, since nothing was remaining after their own expenses. TIME had warned to people not to donate to such NGOs.
Actually social assistance is not unknown to Bhaarateey people. Rather our cuture tells us that that helping people is a form of worshiping God. As an eaxample I am attaching the deatails published in a recent newspapers about a Social work being done by one of Ashrams in Vrindavan. I am attaching the news to acquiaint you with the forms of our Social works activities. Nobody needs to cheat anyone else and donate that money to such Social organizations. The cheated money surely will not help our lofty cause, isn't it? Such money is considered as tainted one and hence is not useful for any good cause.
      With regards to all,

Kiran Bedi reported to be a member of Anna's Team. Anna has been reported to be a Mahatma Gandhian. Now this Kiran Bedi's case of making money for the benefit poor class people through a misappropriated means can be compared with a really Gandhian social worker in nineteen sixties.

It was normal to have a long queue at ticket office windows of railways everywhere in India under Nehruvian Congress rule though it was having absolute majority in centre as well as in states.

Jugatram Dave a veteran Mahatma Gandhian and his associate had to pick up a train from Ahmedabad to Bharuch. They were somewhat late due to delayed local bus for railway station. The queue for Class III was very long and it was common for many trains. It was quite possible to miss the train if had they stood in queue meant for third class. It was essential to catch the scheduled train.

The associate suggested Jugatram (better known as Jugatram kaka) to have tickets for First Class because there was no queue for the first class. Jugatram-kaka agreed to the suggestion. First Class tickets were purchased. But they travelled by third class.

I have not heard of any real Gandhian who took any benefit of any type of concession or quota.

Anna could be some what a Mahatma Gandhian. But the integrity of his team members is not beyond doubt. Not only this, but their perception of Gandhian principles is not clear.

Since huge amount of 'Public Assets' are used by the Centre and State Governments for contracting PPP Projects... It is but natural that People act as Watchdogs to ensure accountability in the expenditure of PPP projects V/s benefits accrued to society at large.

Therefore while signing contracts the Centre & State Governments must ensure that the PROJECT comes within the perview of RTI Act 2005.

I fully support the RTI Act in present form. Any amendemnt to dilute it must be stoutly opposed. In fact the Act needs more stringent provisions.  Non-application of Section 4 must be a cognizable offcene. Discretion of Info. Commissioners in imposing penalty should be withdrawn. Second Schedule should be shortened.
We shouild also boycott the Shiv Sena in the whole country. All politicians are actors and are anti-people. They all haave common interest in killing the transparency law.
