RE: [IAC#RG] Regarding Seminar on Election Reform

To save the cost these vital informations of the candidates (sought to be printed in the ballot paper as sought in the trailing mail)  could be in a posture; A couple of them could be displayed prominently in the vicinity of booths.

I fully agree that there should be election reforms. In this context, I have sent one suggestion that has appeared in Karmayog no 5591(13). In short, it states that there should be three extra columns(one word) in the ballot box. One should indicate, qualification, second criminal cases and third his/her total assest. This information is provided by the candidate to the election commission in the form of affidavit but the same is not known to the ordinary voter. If the same is incorporated, I feel, it will help in cleaning the system to a great extent.

Hello Friends,

Congratulations to Maulik Bharat for organising Seminar on Electoral Reforms.

I can not attend the Seminar but have the following suggestions:

1)  Please discuss bogus Representation of People Act. It is only Election Process without any Chapters on Selection, Public Representation & Removal Processes. People must be empowered to have control over their Elected Representatives.

2)  There is NO real Voters Education & Protection like Consumers/Investors Education/Protection. Voters Education & Protection is basic requirement in Democracy.

Hope the above points will be addressed in the Seminar by Speakers & Participants.

Wishing success of the seminar and best regards,

Navin Pandya

Re: [IAC#RG] CAUTION to IAC and the public

Dear Ashokji

Please convey our thanks to Annaji's team for promptly clarifying that
Annaji's support is only personal to Didi and not to any political
party including TMC.

As agreed on 26.Nov.2012 with Arvind, we at IAC shall act as watchdogs
over AAP to ensure that our common objectives are met. The next time
Annaji has any concerns with IAC's political matters outside
Maharashtra it would be better if they are routed through us for
better coordination within IAC family and do not spill over into
media.

With best wishes
Sarbajit
