HIS NAME FIGURES.
This is good that you have given lot of information on it
That is why credit goes to Guru Ravindranath Tagore for
introducing Theosophy in his University, which still is being taught
there.
Guru Ravindra nath Tagore's name also figures in Esperanto
literature too, which is an international Language ( UNO has accepted
it )and Mr SS Pal of Calcutta , who is Vice President of Esperanto
Federation of India, is running a school for teaching the language.
Guru Tagore believed in the International language and
several foreign languages are also taught in Vihwabharti.
I knew that you must be from Bengal, & will talk of
Adi Brahmo Samaj as a religion, that is why I highlighted on Theosophy
which believes in all religions of the world, including Brahmo Samaj
Religion.
The Esperanto & Theosophy have one goal ALONE like other
GROUPS BASED ON WORLD PEACE:
UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD
So Theosophy is not a religion, which was established
by Col. Olcot of USA & Madam H.B. Blavatsky of Russia & the
Theosophy embraces all religions of the world including Brahmo samaj.
May be Theosophy and Brahmo samaj not tallying on
few of the facts, as you said but I have never come about any such
differences between the two as I have remained for several years in
Bengal.
The members of Brahmo samaj have every right to become
member of Theosophical Society and in my knowledge there is none who
opposed theosophy.
In my view there can not be any difference between the
two or any other group or samaj.
Now it is 135 years, after establishing of the
Theos. Society, in 1875 and later shifted as International Hq. at
Chennai.
Yes to some extent you may be correct that worship is
secretly done where Mahatma KootHumi, and other Mahatma's picture are
kept.
I may correct you that to join that secret group of Mahatma
Kuthumi & other Mahatma, a member is allowed if he has completed
membership of Theos society for three years.
You may also be correct that many members of the
Nehru-gandhi Parivar are/were members of theos Society.
But it is misconception of a few & it is not a foreign
society as it was shifted from New york to Chennai after say about
five years say in 1890.
Many more misapprehensions, about the role of
Theosophical. society, in attaining independence they are not correct
nor it is correct that it had foreign spies.
I have to further state that I have not talked about Mrs
Sonia Gandhi at all nor about her religion or politics.
I believe that matter relating to politics should not be
discussed under RTI group and if I find that she is against the RTI
movement/ empowerment, I will be the first person to raise my voice.
Members know me that so many mails against this Govt.
has been sent by me who want SC Judges to be kept out side the ambit
of RTI.
Be sure for RTI I am with you and as also with all
organisations which are fighting for its empowerment.
As such I do not want to discuss any religion or
politics under our group.
Earlier also I never had discussed about religion or
politics under this group or other groups.
