WHOM would you classify as "UPPER CLASS" and which class would put /INSTALL the Ministers ( irrespective of political parties ) the govt officer's (BABU'S) and the farmers( super RICH) .HOW many industrialist are there whom you would classify as super rich.. is not the govt increasingly bringing more n more laws that generate more and more black money by giving more powers to the officer sitting on the chair .IF RUMORS are to be believed ( I am a retired person who sits in the public gardens and pick up tit-bits from the talks floating around . ) that ordinary traffic policeman /inspectors posting to police station of their choice . to revenue collecting officers have to pay to their seniors for THE POSTING . HAVE you gone to the pubs or BARS of the 5 stars are filled with whom ?? IS there a middle class ? they are the poor who have been bled by the govt n inflation ( and their idiotic notions n belief of IZZAT KA SWAL ) for your information some families living in the ZOPADIS (slum huts that are classified as ) EARN much more than the families living in the high rise bldg .
I AM A RETIRED PERSON WHO IS LEFT WITH NO OPTION BUT TO SELL OUT HIS FLAT to move to the far suburbs for his survival and the money also as per CAPITAL GAINS laws he will have put in the bank as FD .and some person with a clout or manufactured balance-sheet take loan and generate more black money .THE WORST SUFFERS are the service class .

HAVE YOU SEEN THE GOLD with the KHOLI'S ( fisher folks) or the farmers who have buried the gold in their land .THE Ghajnavis or the looteras from accross the boarders who invaded india or the Britishers have looted nothing in comparisons to the loot taking place now a days . The sub standard material being used in practically most of the contracts doled out at highly inflated prices THE SCAMS coming out in the open . THIS IS A COUNTRY WHERE FAITH MOVES N PEOPLE WILL DONATE EVERYTHING FOR A CAUSE .FOR THAT YOU NEED PEOPLE LIKE SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE ./TILAK /SARDAR PATEL/LAL BHADUR SHASTRI /GULJARILAL NANDA /JUDGE M.C.CHAGLA /RAFI AHMED KIDWAI/MAULANA AZAD / and others who inspired confidence who INSPIRED PEOPLES FAITH ( IN WHICH COUNTRY you will find people donating the GOLD worn on their body .SHASHTRIJI'S request during chinese aggression. HOW MANY BANGLADESHI did we FED N CLOTHED and made them live for months .many countries population was less than the SHARANAGATIS(REFUGEES)
Imagine if n if only a nominal tax was to be paid by every individual (NOT BELOW 18yrs of age ) and in gradation as per the wealth what would be the TAX collected .and available .
A Project by DASTUR & co. was given to BRITISH INDIA as WELL AS LATER ON TO FREE INDIA . HOW MUCH LOOT EVERY COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED . FINALLY ( i can go on n on) are you aware this is the country where there was 92% tax plus wealth tax .total amounting to 103% in taxes .

Increasingly, "black money" is also what the spouse is able to save up separately, what the poor man is able to keep after the rulers have bled him try, what the middle class is able to keep aside for a rainy day.
It is increasingly not what our loot and scoot type upper class are raking in - that money has now been sanctified and brought back into India cleaned up by a variety of routes, including Mauritius.

Yes, there is a definite correlation between black money and corruption but it is not a "strong" correlation.
To put it simply, eliminating black money in India will hardly do anything to eliminate corruption. What will happen is that the bribe money moves overseas (as most of it already has) to be spent there and benefit the economies of the foreigners who bribe our netas instead of India and Indians.
IAC's objective is very well defined - "To eliminate corruption wherever found by all means". This has not very much to do with black money.
