Sincerely, it is true that person of Phd grade also does not mean he is educated. Merely apeing western system of education does not ensures that the person is suitable to make his own decision which is against society.

Indian Society has a history of being more "educated" in terms of humanity and society then western.Whatever other people say, I say India is one of the most "free" country (except for paying tax) it is not america or uk.

And we should be proud of facts that we have khaps, which ensures the settlement of facts at ground level itself by a local person. 

As it is well said " 99 acts of goodwill are ignored for 1 act of mistake". Noone publishes facts of Khaps vouching for water system or electricity or education collectively but one small mistake and media is against them.

Irrespective of whether my comments are published, Mr. Captain B I would like to state the requirement of our tradition systems is very much essential for any society.

Was wondering if stopping such on television would actually stop or even slow down the evils that prevail in the society

I believe that education of the masses would help. Censorship is rather draconian

Im in my early 20's and I believe that I should have a choice. I stay in mum ai where we are bombarded with all types media....and I guess and educated person would know how to process such information

I find censorship akin to khyap panchayats

Please give your views...
