Re: [IAC#RG] Baba Ramdev to communalise politics

I find the methods of analyzying politics on this list sometimes impractical. You are unlikely to find a "clean" public figure or politician. Particularly among the "high TRP" mob.

In my view, if my focus is on India, then I have to look at the dynamics more than the picture. It does not matter if the prince is a frog. In the end, it is a basket of crabs whose energies will do one good thing - keep the others in check.

In my view, rather than look at who is "moral" or "honest", it is useful to begin as George Orwell begins his famous essay on Gandhi "SAINTS should always be judged guilty until they are proved innocent..." immediately followed by "..but the tests that have to be applied to them are not, of course, the same in all cases."

I have nothing for or against any public entity - Kejriwal, Ramdev, Gandhis, Modi, whoevers included. In my view what is interesting is what they do to each other, and which are the resultant gaps we can exploit to break the "elite club" wide open for more and more people to start messing with.

Thus, I am happy about all scam exposes, Ramdev's demands, scrutiny of Ramdev and so on. I am specifically grateful for Kejriwal and Co for being a wild card. I know many are certain that there are hidden agendas at work, (and I would be surprised if there weren't!) but fact is that many lines have been redrawn and others have been blurred, and this should be seen as a larger picture to exploit opportunity for the masses to get more and more information and disrupt status quos profiting some people using the abundant motivation of their rivals :D

I think that anywhere where established crony relationships get rattled in favor of the new corrupt is still a step up. And now that this can of worms is open, there will be escalating scrutiny and we should aim to do this over and over. I believe this will help the country more than evaluating individuals - none of whom appear satisfactory.

"Lesser evil" is bullshit. "This evil guy" is also bull shit.

The menu currently asks if you want to eat shit that is baked, roasted or cooked in spices. Same difference. More useful to look at the procurement process than menu.
