This is one of the rarest emailed response I have attempted to
share. That too in my 77 th year that I have been blessed with having
originally come to Delhi via Mussoorie, in 1947, from Lahore where I
was born. (The parasitical growth of the previous few centuries broke
our land into three entities but under two flags -- and now THREE!)
In Punjab or even in the rest of our country the word which begins
with H is not used in very good company -- regardless how effective it
may be in its force and impact.
Kiran ji has made an excellent suggestion-- "parasites and
parasitical" conveys in a more gentlemanly way than that which begins
with H.
