Re: [HumJanenge] NGO "Haramis"

Dear Sid

I would NOT badmouth Rahul who was a noble soul..
I WOULD (and do) badmouth the usual NGO suspects who try to distort his memory / body of work.

For instance, I certainly have a small issue with whoever has put up that website (rahulmangaonkar.org) in his memory and which is otherwise doing a good job of disseminating his work. The small issue is with regard to putting Aruna Roy and Arvind Kejriwal on the homepage. Rahul's issues with such NCPRI "haramis" over Narmada are too well known and I am not repeating it again here.

To a great exrtent, the "humjanenge" split has its roots in this dispute.

Dear Sarbajit,

You once said at the other forum at RTI_India "We speak well of the
departed." So why bad mouth Late Rahul Mangaonkar now ?  Is that
really necessary ?
