Re: [HumJanenge] Blast at Delhi High Court

I do not agree with your opinion. It is not in the interest of Congress Ruling party to enact an incident like this. This will go against them . It is motivated by anti National elements, sleeper elements of the ISI Pakistan agents.

Regarding installing of Camera and Sound system has no meaning if it is not backed with a Reactionary force, which has to be quick responsive. Present method is not even sufficient for post event investigation.

Have you seen the checking systems whereever it is installed. It is a clear waste of manpower and resources. Firstly it is inadequate considering the visitors it is handling ( 7/09 is the case in point), secondly checking is not done with intelligence ie You can raise your hand with a bomb in it and get body checked and pass through, hide anything in your shoes, Car boots are cheked not the body or the passegers or Driver,  Checking staff have inferiority complex (well dressed persons with brief case are allowed to go in with a smile as a salutation, in the name of hurting religious sentiment through checks is avoided  are some of the observations.

I suggest installation of Security checks like entering the security areas at least for Courts and other sensitve areas. In USA even entering Statue of Liberty checks are done like you are entering an Airport Security area. All persons entering should take off their belts and shoes , empty pockets and send their handbags through scanners and these be open checked.

Dear All,

As per my opinion, this attack may be from the congress party, to gain attention to the bomb blast, instead of the public concentrating the attention on the Lokpal BIll or on the corrupted congress butt. (this is the only best appropriate word).

Also, I think, installing the CCTV will be great, but with the audio recording facilities will be the best. And with the videos in RTI circle, we will be able to understand why there are so many cases pending in the courts.

I am in for any such movement for fitting the cameras in police station, talathi's offices and courts starting from the district's courts.

Hemant Kshirsagar

Dear Sarbajit Roy ji,

In my humble opinioeen, CCTV recording inside and outside of courts ,hospitals, important public bldgs should be started-----no need of entirely useless/irrelevent sketches of terrorists.

In US, since 1961 , recording of  court proceeding is in vogue. In our parliament , every word is transcripted. So it should be right time to initiate movement for installing CCTV outside&inside of courts (if judiciary agrees which is most unlikely).

I fully endorse Sarabjeet's views and submissions. I myself escaped death by

On 25th July, I had sent a letter to the chief justice highlighting how the
process of issuing passes is a threat to the security and is meaningless. No
reply was ever received. Perhaps I and Sarabjeet could join in a PIL on this
issue which should be filed tomorrow if not today. Let us ensure that this
gets heard on Friday rather than wait for the next Wednesday.

Subject: [HumJanenge] Blast at Delhi High Court

Dear Friends

I was within the Delhi High Court at 10:14 AM when  powerful blast
shook the building, resulting in hundreds of people being affected. In
fact I was standing at the very spot where the blast took place at
about 9:45 AM.

The blame for this incident lies squarely at the door of the Chief
Justice of Delhi High Court. I had filed RTIs recently to the Court
highlighting the problems litigants like me faced to enter the court
and make passes strongly emphasising the "threat to life and limb" of
litigants by the encroachment on the pavements by the advocates and
court . Recent security measures introduced by the Registrar/DHC like
insisting on photo-ID and making applicants for gate passes sign in
their presence have increased the queques. Only 3 functioning counters
to issue passes, senior advocates parking their BMWs on the footpath
where the passes are issued. In the SC the pass section is inside the
controlled area and they have about 15 functioning counters. And so
on.

Sarbajit
