Re: [HumJanenge] Re: ANNA'S FAST UN TO DEATH

Dear Mr. sarabjit,
Just like you, I am also keenly following the campaign. I made inquiries and learnt that the car used does not belong to Anna. It belongs to someone who came in touch with the campaign only two days before the fast and he offered his car for the journey.Anna can not be faulted for this. Its good that you have noticed it; I am yet to see the car again but will certainly check it and lodge my protest with the owner.

As far the process of law making is concerned, sending comments etc, enough representations, more than dozen, had been sent to PM on it. None was even acknowledged till Anna announced fast.  Anyway, we always have a right to lodge our protest, if we smell something fishy. This fast is culmination of that protest.

Dear Jasvir

This is an RTI group at the end of the day. I am not the only person
who is running this group. My co-moderators have been extremely
patient and refrained from participating in the discussions so as not
to aggravate the situation further,
If indeed these discussions are important, there are many other
groups / forums where general discussion takes place.

I am standing by the one point I made. I want to know why Anna Hazare
misused the National Flag on a motor vehicle with a  sticker depicting
incorrect boundaries of India. Let him first apologise to the people
of India for this lapse. As an prospective affected person I say that
people who break small laws cannot be expected to draft big ones on
our behalf.

In any case, why is Anna Hazare special ? If he has a grievance that a
certain law has not been enacted, let him first show us what STATUTORY
steps he has taken to get his grievance addressed as an ORDINARY
CITIZEN before he embarks on this publicity seeking blackmailing
regime.

There is a scheme for this law (LokPal Bill) to be enacted. A GoM /CoS
is on the job. The citizens of India will be given a chance toi file
their comments once the OFFICIAL draft is ready. Why is Anna Hazare
such an old man in a hurry ?? If he actually sticks to his declared
intention of continuing his fast till LP Bill is enacted (after due
process presumably) it will defy all known laws of physics / human
physiology.
