[rti4empowerment] Anybody in the Group - pls. clarify reg. the CIC procedure for granting Appeal Hearing Date

Hi,
Reg. Speed Post sent from Bangalore bearing Reference No.:
EK432596599IN on www.indiapost.gov.in; it's delivered to CIC on
25-3-2K11.

Now, pls. inform how to know the status of the CIC Appeal?
- Should I wait for any Postal Letter from CIC after 6 months or so?
How long is the Waiting-Time for the CIC Appeal Hearing?
- Will some sort of Reference No. be sent to me by Post shortly by CIC
to me, so that I can use it for Reference purposes?
- Can I track the same on CIC Website? If so, procedure pls.
- Is there any other mode of communication/interaction from CIC?

I prefer not to be left in the dark with no communication from CIC,
wasting my time hoping for the reply from CIC, thereby not getting RTI
info. There is no one contact point or help desk(in CIC or at the
State level) to clarify basic stuff.

Moreover, with reference to this mail, there are several confusing
opinions. I hope that one amongst you in the Group or those who are
in Delhi (near CIC) would clarify the stuff.
