Re: [HumJanenge] State to pioneer tele-filing of RTI petitions

Dear Anand

Thanks for bringing this fine example of irresponsible reporting to the notice of our members, Seriously, the quality of reporting in the media is going down the tubes everyday.

For instance

a) What is an RTI "petition" ?
b) How does the newspaper reach the conclusion that citizens file RTIs "against" the departments ?.
c) Isn't this similar to the Bihar RTI call center model ?
d) Why cant RTIs be filed in Hindi ?

and so on,

The sting is in the tail of the article. This call centre is likely to be managed by TCS - yet another organisation in the corrupt house of Ratan Tata.
