[IAC++] Judicial Accountability towards We the People is the desperate need of the hour for Common Man to get justice that has been denied..

Dear All,

"8 of 16 CJIs Corrupt" case undecided by Supreme Court for years together reflect Judicial Corruption.

Rather, I call it a judicial barbarism or even judicial goondaism.

Judicial Accountability towards We the People is the desperate need of the hour for Common Man to get justice that is denied..

We the People must have our say in the selection, appointment, transfers, promotions and removal of the Judges, including those at HCs & SC, for the democracy to flourish which has remained so far on paper.

Rather, it is the Mobocracy that is dominating now.

Regards,

Sir,

In my openion, They will get discouraged from this type of activity as also working as Mouthpieces of vested interest once the inordinately delayed "8 of 16 former CJIs Corrupt" case is decided with the names of ex CJIs (reportedly lying with Supreme Court) are made public.

FORMER JUDGES SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO INFLUENCE  COURTS  BY THEIR TILTED LEGAL OPINIONS

Chief Justice of India SH Kapadia rightly spurned the written legal opinions of former Supreme Court Chief Justices that were submitted along with at petition filed. The tendency of these retired judges in trying to influence the merits of a case by their legal opinion needs to be strongly deprecated. Such opinions obtained obviously at a price cannot be used to influence courts. These retired judges should maintain the decorum and sanctity of the positions they held.

In Goa we recently had the case where two former Supreme Court judges Justice B.N.Srikrishna and Justice S.N.Variava gave their legal opinion in defence of an advocate who is accused of having cheated the State exchequer to the tune of five lakhs by fraudulently billing for hearings he never appeared in Court. In that much skewed opinion these two retired Supreme Court judges opined that "per appearance" did not have to necessarily mean appearance in Court and could be appearance anywhere in Goa. One of these judges even tried to make direct contact with the Law department to hush up the cheating case against that Advocate who is a Mumbai based Senior Counsel and also appears before the Supreme Court. The Judiciary seems to be sinking to a very new low.
