[IAC++] Generic Medicines - Legal Notice sent to Dr Manmohan Singh.

Now, about the captioned subject.

India is the country where Medicines are sold by "Brand Name" and not by "Generic Name" making it possible for the Pharma Companies to earn exceptionally high profit by charging the price at their own whims and fancy. This fact is known to people in power including the Higher Judiciary. 

The mind-boggling gigantic corruption is knowingly allowed though some cosmetic changes are made to hoodwink people & Govt has been urging the Govt Sector Drs to prescribe the Medicines by "Generic Name".

However, production & sale of Medicines by "Generic Name" only has not been legally enforced so far. It needs to be done to stop the day light robbery.

In this regard, Legal Notice has been served on Dr Manmohan Singh. 

There has been no response to it for the reasons best known to the PM & the PMO.
