[HumJanenge] First RTI appeal went in vain

Hi All,

 

I sent a RTI letter to Bangalore Development Authority on 27/04/2011,which was responded on 23/05/2011. The information seeked was not provided in the response. I filed the first appeal

on 10/06/2011 by speed post.

Still there is no information. I called BDA commissioner's office today and the lady in his office said that she has not received the appeal. She further gave me PRO office number to check, I called

PRO office, and the lady there told checked the records. She could locate the letter sent on 27/04/2011 but she could not trace the appeal sent on 10/06/2011.

 

What is the best way to go forward.

1) File the appeal again as a reminder

2) File a case in Karnataka State Information commission because I have the copy of the Speed post, and the delivery report on www.indiapost.gov.in
