I recommend Sarabjit for seeking authentic guidance on RTI.
I can say from my experience with him, he promptly gives reply thru email. His views are authentic.
I appreciate his way of working and willingness to help.
with all the best regards,

I can confirm that Mr Sarbajit Roy assisted me entirely voluntarily in my RTI case in the office of CIC. Even though I offered him whatever amount he wanted for the services he had rendered, and for the time he spent on my case, he refused to accept any compensation at all. Incidentally, his help and the time he spent on my case, was probably better and thorough, than most lawyers would have given me. As he has himself said, we did have a burger and coffee at Nirulas opposite the AKB. That was more to afford us a chance to sit in a decent enough place, and to do some more discussions.AK Anand

Dear Irfan-bha i
Let me solemnly declare as follows:-
1) I have not received any money (in any form) from any foreigner /
foreign body ever !!!!
2) I have not received any money from any Govt. body / agency etc -
EXCEPT FOR Rs. 100 token amount which I won in National Science Talent
Search competition when I was in 9th or 10th standard. This 100 rupees
was given to me as a token amount (instead of a huge amount I was
meant to receive) for reasons which are entirely in the public domain.
3) I do not take even a singe paise from anyone for social work.
People out of the goodness of their hearts have occasionally offered
me a) their blessings and good wishes b) parathas at the street vendor
outside CIC c) Coffee and burgers at Nirulas opposite CIC, etc d) a
CPIO I was assisting (wrongly accused by a high-handed IC) once
insisted on paying for a packet of chips (Lays Rs.20) and a Coke (Rs
21) for my son who had to wait in my car. I cant recall any other such
incidents, members who I have assisted from time to time may assist me
by posting.
I am a hard-working person, I do not run NGOs or associate with NGOs,
I do not accept awards and prizes. I file my tax returns regularly and
believe in nation building and exposing corrupt anti-national people.
I can also assure you that if the Givt ever decided I was an eminent
person, I would promptly declare the true value of my assets, and not
hide behind legal fig leafs like Mr Shailesh Gandhi resorts to.
