I would also like to add another perspective, here.
We all (at least those on this forum) appreciate that transparency is the best (known) cure to corruption. So, why don't we analyze the draft Lokpal Bill/ proposal in that light, independent of the virtues (or otherwise) of the participants?
Isn't it enough that we have a historic opportunity where a powerful legislation is being drafted with a joint committee of legislature and civil society (a first in world in my knowledge)? As Swami Agnivesh said, the credit goes to Annaji as well as Govt and it makes me feel very proud of
Let us spend our energy on the scrutinizing the draft proposal and provide feedback.
