Dear Baby Varkey,
At the moment, the issue of amendment to RTI rules should get top priority as the last date is on 27th.
Some Activists are planning to hold protest against these draft rules and I shall inform the members about the date and time of the same after it is finalised. Yesterday, there was a meeting of about 20 activists on this on the initiative of Mr. Gopal Prasad, who has taken many useful information from the Delhi Police.
U may include me as I join u. I read the draft rules but not able to go in depth, I leave the final decsion on you and your knowledgeable RTI activists to give a suitable proposal.
However, no rules can supersede the Act if these are in violtion of the bare Act and in that case, rules can always be challenged in the Court but we should try the attempt to nip in the bud without waiting to that extent.
Regards,
M K Gupta

I dont think anyone here is interested in RTI anymore.
RTI has been flogged to death, and only the vested interests
are left on this group..
