Interlocutors to get Rs 1.5 lakh a month

New Delhi: A Right to Information (RTI) application has revealed that
the each interlocutor appointed by center for Jammu and Kashmir will
get rupees 1.5 lakh per month and status of a state guest.
Journalist Dileep Padgaonkar, academician Radha Kumar and economist
M.M. Ansari were appointed as interlocutors on October 13, 2010.
The group of interlocutors, in course of time will be provided
separate offices at New Delhi, until then, they can meet at India
International Centre (IIC) and the expenses will be borne by Ministry
of Home Affairs (MHA). Each of them will be allowed to appoint
personal assistants for the entire term.
