A report submitted in May by IAS officer Ashok Khemka to the Haryana Government questions why a licence, granted just a month after Mr Robert Vadra, the controversial son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, bought a 3.5 acre plot of land for Rs. 7 crore, added such value that DLF paid 58 crores for the plot just three months later.
Mr Khemka's report also says the Haryana government had shown undue haste in granting the commercial colony license to Mr Vadra and claimed that Robert Vadra falsified documents to execute a series of bogus transactions to sell the 3.5 acre land in Shikohpur village of Gurgaon to real estate giant DLF for Rs. 58 crore.
The report also alleges Mr Vadra's company, Sky Light Hospitality Private Limited, made no payment of Rs. 7.5 crore as mentioned in the land registration certificate.
