Dear Mr Lopez
0) This group is unlike other RTI groups / forums in that we require
complete adherence to facts and truths, and we discourage spreading
of "opinion" unless it is clearly indicated as such.
1) ALL govts want to kill the RTI Act. There are no "good" govts here
and the implementation of RTI Act in non UPA states is EVEN
WORSE than in some UPA States.
2) To amend the RTI Act openly will need consensus of political
parties across the spectrum in Lok Sabha and also Rajya Sabha.
You will recall that when RTI Act 2005 was passed, the BJP was
boycotting Parliament. A similar situation exists today. Alternatively
RTI quislings/traitors like Arvind Kejriwal and his immature actions
will unite all sections of the political classes to neuter the RTI Act,
or any law, which can expose them.
3) It is impossible for all sections of RTI activists to "unite" against
this menace/threat. Can you name the person/group whose flag
we should sail under <smile> ?
4) From what I can see over the internet, you and and your
so-called "RTI movement" are exactly the touts, frivolous and
vexatious applicants who have brought down this calamity on the
citizens. Do you deny Sir that you run a "RTI consultancy"
business ? Do you deny that, say, in case 30212/2010 decided
on 25.01.2011 in the TNSIC it is recorded that you requested
for 65 queries in a single RTI application ?.
5) I think, Sir, that you will be much better off running with
those NCPRI dogs who are in the same line of business, than
in begging for our group's assistance.
