We are most excited to announce that Shailesh Gandhi who has just returned to Mumbai after a much-admired stint as Central Information Commissioner (CIC), has volunteered to conduct two sessions every month in November, December and January for Moneylife Foundation on the Right to Information (RTI) Act. These will be on the first and third Monday of each month. At Mr Gandhi's suggestion, the sessions will be split as follows:

1st Monday for beginners: The RTI Act, understanding its key provisions and how to file effective applications with important dos and don'ts to ensure your queries are answered.

3rd Monday for regular RTI users: This session is for those who have already filed multiple RTI applications and need to understand how to navigate the appeals process all the way to the CIC hearings.

This is a unique opportunity to empower yourself, so don't miss the learning opportunity, even if it means taking leave for half a day to listen to Mr Gandhi.
