I agree with Bhaskar, all efforts to make the said RTI Act redundant should be opposed by mass movement mobilisation via letters, emails etc to political bosses across the country. Let the Govt know that nobody wants an amendment to the RTI Act 2005 as well as any other Act per say. The RTI Act 2005 supersedes all other Act in place for the time being, may plz be noted.
