Re: [HumJanenge] Request for ur comments on Dr Binayak Sen case

1) Nobody here has defended the judiciary in Dr Sen's case (as yet).

2) That is not to say, however, that there was no evidence at all against
Dr Sen. The entire evidence on which Dr Sen was convicted has now
come onto the record. He still has at least 3 appellate stages left.

3) As PUCL (Rajasthan) has posted here, the written arguments were
submitted through competent counsel, they are all on procedural aspects
of the Evidence Act.

4) What is likely now is that Dr Sen's appeal will be heard separately from
his co-accused. This will brighten the chances of his release. Ultimately
he will be convicted or freed on the evidence against him.

5) Ms.Arundhati Roy is not a member here. We only abuse / insult people
on this group who are members here and after giving them every opportunity
to defend themselves / refute / set the record straight etc.
