i accept my mistake, which was created by the following circumstances:
1. the official mail id presented by you, directed to a domain in no way affiliated to IBN7, which you have clarified was a typographical mistake at your end
2. i wrote a mail to editor@ibnlive.com for his confirmation of your id, (which incidentally is the only id available on IBN contact page), to which he has failed to reply till now.
3. in recent times i have seen many such ploys to collect personal data, much of which is misused.
as suggested by you, a google search on you could have been enlightening, except that impersonation is something that cannot be verified even with a google search. (aren't we seeing too much of it these days... LOL)
i believe it is better to be safe than sorry. trust you understand.
to me it seems that for a channel as yours, collecting personal details over mail is way too risky - makes no sense risking everybody's personal details over a public domain. you could have easily created a form, with a declared privacy policy. i hope it does not seem i am making too much of too little...
best regards, nilesh

dear all,
i am forced to believe that the author of this mail, mr ravindra ambekar, is
neither affiliated to IBN7, nor is affiliated to network18.com in any
manner. for your reference, you your own satisfaction, contact IBN7 or try
to open www.network18.com, which is in no way affiliated to IBN7...
i feel ashamed that people are trying to collect personal details in the
name of RTI. in fact the recent manner in which various groups have sprung
up on the net itself is something to be ashamed of.
please do not divulge your personal details to anybody unless you are
assured of his / her identity...
ps : if mr ambekar has anything to prove against my claims, i will be most
willing to take back my comments, and apologize for the same. if not, i hope
the group moderator will have the courage and integrity to remove him from
the group, as well as forward request to the other affiliated groups...
