Re: [rti4empowerment] updating data base of RTI activists in india.

Dear Member

You have cast aspersions against the integrity of the group and its moderators and implied that the existence of this group is "shameful". Kindly do not repeat the same.

We, however, agree that requesting group members to divulge their personal details on a publicly accessible website is a serious breach of confidentiality and google's terms of service. We are therefore taking immediate action on your request and expelling "mr ravindra ambekar" from this group.

We advise our members not to respond to any emails or other form of personal contact derived from this privacy breach. The list owners are not responsible in any way or degree or extent for the lapses of the members in foolishly divulging their details to strangers or other untrusted persons.

dear all,

i am forced to believe that the author of this mail, mr ravindra ambekar, is neither affiliated to IBN7, nor is affiliated to network18.com in any manner. for your reference, you your own satisfaction, contact IBN7 or try to open www.network18.com, which is in no way affiliated to IBN7...

i feel ashamed that people are trying to collect personal details in the name of RTI. in fact the recent manner in which various groups have sprung up on the net itself is something to be ashamed of.

please do not divulge your personal details to anybody unless you are assured of his / her identity...

ps : if mr ambekar has anything to prove against my claims, i will be most willing to take back my comments, and apologize for the same. if not, i hope the group moderator will have the courage and integrity to remove him from the group, as well as forward request to the other affiliated groups...
