On 18th Nov 2010 a post was made on various RTI related mailing lists
claiming that "AID" obtained a list of certain RTI activists through
an RTI application to an Indian Consulate in the US.

Association for India's Development (AID) and its volunteers have not
filed any such RTI application nor requested such information.

AID is committed to the RTI as a tool to promote transparency and
accountability in democratic governance, and will continue to work
