RE: [IAC#RG] AAM AADMI PARTY'S STRANGE QUERIES

18/12/13

Dear Sir,

Whatever you have stated are in the realm of possibilties and past experience. But if AAP forms Govt. and works sincerely and Congress withdraws support, AAP will get clear majority and Congress will suffer further humiliation in the fresh elections.
Once assured of working majority with Congress support, why should they ask for BJP support? Is it the intention of AAP that there should be no opposition and criticism of their policies and actions. Are they trying to make it one party rule with opposition having no role to play. Is it democracy or autocracy?
3. If AAP does not form the Govt. it will be Presidents Rule-indirectly Congress Rule-because they are ruling in the centre and seat of power is same-Delhi
4. Under such conditions, what is the guarantee that AAP will get clear majority? If not, Delhi will continue to suffer from hung assembly.
5.Recently I was in Delhi from 7 to 14.12. I had an opportunity to meet some past MLAs from both the main parties, including one candidate of AAP who lost to BJP in a social function. The impression I gather is that AK will not be able to deliver on the promises he has made.
6.Gradually it is turning out that AAP is team B for congress and all this is a drama being played out for public consumption. As S. Roy has said, what a coincidence that AAP+Cpngress get 36-just the majority needed.
7.Delhi is a city State. So AAP can resort to referendum gimick. Is this possible in a bigger state and larger scale?
8. I was away from internet for a week. I am really surprised with the large no. of posts on AAP from 8th onwards.
I sincerely hope advising AAP should stop till they take final call on forming the Govt.

congress has unconditionally agreed to give support. Unconditional support can be withdrawn any time, so there is no guarantee that the party supporting from outsAPide will do so till the end of tenure. Congress had withdrawn support midway several times at center K. Chandra Shekhars period, Deve Gowda, Gujral etc. So the government can't be stable when a party support from outside it can pull down the govt any time and impose fresh election. During unconditional support also they are not supposed to support bills introduced in the house they can abstain or defeat any bills or impose their on amendments. In Indian history unconditional support is more dangerous than inside support,, When congress and AAP are having a different ideology and vision it will be more difficult to do government function. Though AAP is offering more populist schemes, even they failed to implement by running a minority government no body can blame them as they will take shelter upon not having absolute majority and demand for majority in the next election . So a government formed t present  con't be put to testing at this time.. and socialistic ideas are concerned given the nature and resources available in Delhi govt can do lot of things in a quick period. like opening new hospitals supplying free water etc. Majority of the Delhi population are not dependent upon govt schemes. Major hurdle in DElhi will be police control , without which law and order situation can't be improved unless and unitil central govt agrees for that ( quiet impossible as on last December also they have diverted the public attention from such demand by focusing death sentence for rapists , their own chief minister's demand was rejected by central govt at that time ) VIP security etc. is again not within the control of Delhi govt. further control of DDA will not be given by he center govt. Delhi govt itself is powerless. so various offers made by AAP can't be implemented ,, that are all practical difficulty,, public auditing of power companies ,, a welcome move but this can be extended to all NGOS and companies which are getting govt contracts ... instead of making this demand for power companies he has to demand for public auditing to all including various private schools and hospitals ,, Kejriwal need good time to realise this kind of problems,, Now he is near to power so he can introspect himself before going for forming a govt.. He should understand that Shanti Bhooshan or Prashanth Bhooshen are not the final authority of all legal issues . it is for him to consult other better lawyer before jumping to any conclusion.  In Indian History govt without having absolute majority failed to perform all the time ,, a minority govt and president rule are same ,, in both cases all policies will be status quo ,, only civil servant is required to perform govt functions.. Parties with diffrent ideologies are not required to join together for forming govt. 1998 mid term election was the result of non supportive stand of political parties to form govt. 13 months govt was fallen down because of  no confidence motion ,, the parties who were voted for motion was failed to form govt.. If any body terrorizing AAP by showing congress's unconditional support should  first realize the problem in such support ..

If AAP does not form a Govt. it will backfire on them in the next elections.
Clearly they are showning lack of courage to form the Govt. which may be due to their lack of experience in governance. Clearly 16 of their demands pertains to administration and only 2 need legislative approval and Congress party has assured their cooperation. So what are they waiting for?

It appears khejriwal is nervous. What prevents him from seeking  advice from eminent citizens who are not interested in politics and not fond of power . There should be many financial experts and retired administrators who would be willing to help without expecting any wages as most of these retired personnel are quite well off with comfortable pension and all their kids well settled, at the same time  fed with the culture and  conduct of our present day politicians .Khejriwal has the mandate with unconditional support of Congress and BJP in Delhi will not dare to bung in the monkey wrench  for fear of losing every thing in 2014 .
What exactly AAP means by declaring  that they will consult the people?  They have already voted for the party . BJP and Congress cannot possibly block any of the 18 points in the agenda. If they even try to do so people will teach these  parties a lesson which they cannot possibly forget !!
Come on  I request my friends to put some sense in to AAP and tell them to get on with the JOB. If he succeeds even 20 % in reducing corruption particularly at the high levels and take swift action to deal with small time police and  state govt employees who  have been making BLACK money merrily  with majority of policemen with 55 inch waistline. First The youngsters of AAP should insist on fit police men. . Just imagine our soldiers with POT BELLIES !! They will not be able to crawl in a battle .
Even if AAP indicates action towards fulfilling their 18 point program AAM ADMI will understand even if AAP does not succeed immediately .ON 29 Dec LOKAYUKTA BILL BASED ON JAN LOK PAL SHOULD BE PASSED. Political parties resisting such move can only  do so at their PERIL .  Seshadri

AAP should demonstrate action now.
No more discussions.
And taking the opinion of 270 Municipal Wards through Jan Sabhas is a crazy idea before every important decision.
By now they should know what people want. If they don't know, then it means they never did any active listening to the Aam Admi. It was just a Shosha.
People want action. People want development. They want an end to their day to day problems and as the party in power, Aap should assume power and get on the job. Any more excuses by them will mean their insincerity. They have the numbers with them with Congress support.
With Lok Sabha elections round the corner, no party would like Aap Govt to fall and invite public wrath.

                            AAM  AADMI PARTY'S  STRANGE QUERIES
BJP  cannot form government in Delhi , since  Aam  Aadmi party refused to extend issue based support.  However, Aam Aadmi party can form government ,since both BJP and Congress have extended issue based support.
Now,  it appears that Aam Aadmi party  tries to wriggle out of   forming government,  by asking BJP and Congress to clarify whether it would extend support for a few particular specific issues as a pre condition.  This question would be logical in case of coalition government,  where different parties join together with minimum action plans.
In the present case, both BJP and Congress would sit in opposition and therefore,  they would be logical in saying that they would extend support depending on performance of the ruling party and based on issues. If Aam  Aadmi party would be confident of its programmes and implement them in honest way, it is bound to get support from the people and the opposition parties would hesitate to oppose for the sake of opposition, particularly fearing rout in the next elections.
Many suspect that Aam Aadmi party has  made nearly impossible  promises like reducing the electricity tariff etc. without understanding the ground realities such as increasing cost of power generation . It promised to pass Lokpal bill in Delhi assembly , ignoring the fact  that Lokpal bill is a Central subject involving  inter state implications.
Perhaps, the party fears that it would be exposed if it would form government.
