Re: [rti4empowerment] RTI Juniors appointed as PIO's

Good Morning Friends,

Please go through sec. 5(1) of The RTI Act, which clearly says that officers are to be appointed as PIO or APIO

 

but The Co-operative department  Commissioner for Cooperation , Registrar of Cooperative Societies , Mumbai has appointed their clerks as PIO.

 

Is it not a mockery of the act by this Public Authority

It is noted that  new trend is  followed at Govt Departments, whereby they appoint Juniors as PIO's

BMC the FAA was Assist Muncipal Commissioner now its executive engineer, Building Proposal Department PIO was executive engineer & Dy.Chief engineer FAA this changed

Assist Eng is PIO and executive engineer FAA,Not too Bad

not the height At Deputy Registrars office HW ward Dadar west

Deputy Registrar was PIO and Dist Dy Registrar was FAA  now they have made some Clerk the PIO

who does not understand anything and Dy.Registrar is FAA, PIO is controllled by Deputy Registrar FAA

( he is only made a scape Goat ) PIO Kamble says what can i do the Deputy Registrar is My Boss I am  PIO against my wishes

Now in a Circular issued By Vikas Rasal Joint Registrar inpliminting  Commissioners of Pune Order

that Deputy Registrar is PIO and Dist Dy.Registrar is FAA

on bring it to the Notice of the Deputy Registrar of HW ward Shri S.M.Patil at Dadar,west

he told me not to teach him his Job and told me  go out of his cabin and meet Kamble for RTI

however Kamble as PIO  is not allowed to stamp and sign for documents issued under the RTI act, it is done By FAA Deputy Registrar

This should be brought to the Notice of SIC Ratnaikar Gaikwad, if anyone knows him kindly appraise him
