Though you prophess 'malice towards none,there are much malice against soldiers in your letter.As a war veteran,I would like to point out to you that;
1. There are many in this country who will not send their children to the Defence Services even if they are jobless.Similiarly there are many who will not join the forces even if they are jobless or have to do menial jobs at home.Our defence services are voluntary.To say that it is only an avenue for employment for the jobless is an insult to the soldiers.
2. Regarding your second point,you are right as far as politicians are concerned,But there are sons of many bureaucrats and judges in the defence services.You can not generalize it.It is the environment that makes a man.For many communities like Rajputs soldiering is the first choice.It is the corrupt political environment that makes politicians from ending their sons to Army.They care for the money not honour. Perhaps that may be the reason for not seeing many people from your state in the army.
3.I do not wish to reply to your 3rd point.It is below my dignity.When you stand infront of a Paki firing line,you will know what noble profession soldiering is.
4. Please for heaven's sake do not bring this patriotic and non-patriotic issue.Nobody has said that non-soldiering is non-patriotic.It is an insult to the civilian patriots.
5. There is no bakra any where.It is the soldier's function to protect the Nation.In the name of democracy, politicians some times misuse it as it happened with Nehru.In any other country,he would have been brought to book and shot for causing the death of thousands of our valiant soldiers.But he hung on to his chair till providence took him away.
Soldiering is a noble profession.They protect the nation so that people like you can sit in your cozy homes and send such garbages.

Dear All, Furher to Allahabad HC just dismissed PIL, with due respect
and regard to the soldiers, serving and retired, my opinion is as
under : (1) Soldiers - the world over - are job needy individuals like
all other citizens needing employment for the livelihood. Given an
alternative financially lucrative job, many soldiers may leave present
job. (2) No son of MPs / MLAs / Ministers / HC or SC Judges /
Bureaucrats / Corporates / Journalists / Actors / Rich Persons becomes
a soldier. (3) Job of soldier is glorified & projected by vested
interest as Patriotic to make it a noble profession. (4) Non-soldier
job to contribute to the Nation is considererd non-patriotic job. (5)
Political Bosses do not go and fight but use the soldiers as Bakra to
satisfy their own ego by creating Wars to divert attention of Nation
and to help Corporates making War Machines. (6) I would love to have
dispassionate and objective discussion in the subject matter with
malice towards none. (7) Personal accusations may kindly be avoided
since not in good taste and not desirable also. Regards,
