Below is link to Video from Dr. David Dill of Stanford University to Indian Election Commission, with the message, 'Electronic Voting Machines, what India can learn from International experience'.
Dr. Dill is considered the Pioneer of Electoral Reforms in USA. He founded two Organizations, testified in US Senate, appeared in several news shows and documentaries and a recipient of Pioneer award from Electronic Frontier Foundation for electoral reforms in USA. At the request of activists, he took time to record the message at Stanford University Video center in 2010. He even followed up with a letter to Election Commissioner even inviting him to Stanford to share his experiences for the benefit of Indians.
In his letter to Election Commission Dr. Dill wrote, 'It is not known how to build trustworthy paperless EVM even using extreme security measures, it is time to recognize the reality that there is no basis for public trust in paperless electronic voting equipment"
