Dear Veerendra
Your query is not suitable for conducting a poll. India does not have a US 2-Party system. It has to be put in a multiple choice format.
I also think its unlikely that the NDA (not the same as BJP) is in a position / mood to declare a common PM candidate right now.
I'll frame it another way (since Congress in Mughal fashion leaves PM/CM choice up to High Command to motivate their troops).
Poll question:
"Who should be the NDA's PM candidate ?"
a) Jayalalita (projn 33 LS seats)
b) Mayawati (projn 29 LS sets)
c) Any BJP leader (Narendra Modi, Sushma Swaraj, Raman Singh, Rajnath Singh, Maneka Gandhi, Baba Ramdev, NS Sidhu) (projn 160 LS seats)
d) Nitish Kumar (projn 15 - 27 LS seats)
This should clarify it better and increase the odds strongly in favour of a BJP PM candidate.
Do you agree to this poll ?
Lets have some more suggestions and we'll run it. Or do you want to wait till after May 8th ?

Dear Sarbajit,Let us just wait and watch. Please get the poll done in any part of India 'Online' or Off line'.Whom would you like to see the Next PM?And see the response.rgdsJaitlyOn Sun, May 5, 2013 at 5:46 AM, Sarbajit Roy <sroy.mb@gmail.com> wrote:Dear Cmdr Jaitley
A sample size of only 125 students in Noida (western UP) is enough to tell you that there is a wave/tsunami for Narendra Modi all over the country ???
Since I doubt what you say, (my local inputs from Karnataka indicate Congress getting twice as many seats as BJP) why don't you do the basic demographic workup of Uttar Pradesh to explain why BJP vote share in UP has been continually dropping from 39% at its peak to 15% today (As our own little - and much abused - "poll" bears out).

Hi All,Kindly change the question for the opinion poll:"Who is the most suitable Indian to be the Prime Minister of India ?"And then see the result.Yesterday, I was conducting an 'Inter College Debate Competition' at a university at Noida and about 125+ engineering students from the western part of UP were in the hall. The topic was ' Bhrashtachaar Mukt Bharat ka Nirmaan Sambhav hai'Speaker after speaker was sad about the state of affairs in our country. Whether 'For' or 'Against' the topic, everyone said there is too much of corruption. The only difference was that those 'For' the topic expressed hope that corruption can be eradicated and they gave a few examples from Bihar, Gujarat and Chatisgarh where some steps have been taken to reduce/remove corruption. In between, I was making some remarks and at one stage I made a remark that I am happy to see such strong feelings from the youth of the nation against corruption. And now the election for Lok Sabha is due just next year and let us hope that some good, honest and strong person becomes the PM of India and he/she takes India forward to what you call the 'Sone ki Chidiya'. And then I asked a pointed question: By the way, who do you feel should be next PM of India? prompt came the reply 'Narendra Modi' 'Narendra Modi' 'Narendra Modi' 'Narendra Modi' from all direction. There was not even a murmur of any other name.I was happy inwardly and just continued saying 'Wow!' 'great'. Let us go for the next speaker '......'This is the voice of India. The only question for which you can have a poll is this 'Whom would you like to see the next PM of India ?' I assure you that the wave has started for NaMo and by the election time it will be Tsunami.India wants change NOW.Commander (Retd) Veerendra Jaitly
