[IAC#RG] FW: Loosing hope for Veterans Memorial Park

Dear & Respected Mr. A. S. Kalyanam,

Your reply to my mail below is appreciated but either unknowingly or knowingly you have
made a mistake of forwarding my private e-mail to a group mail organized for IAC and
moderated by Mr. Sarabjit Roy. Mr. Roy is absolutely correct, I am not at all associated
with IAC.

Thanks for taking time and expressing your views on "Loosing hope for Veterans Memorial
Park", an idea I have been working on for almost a year now. The mail was addressed to
hundreds of Indian Veterans (recipients name was suppressed).

If interested in the subject, please do contact me directly but avoid forwarding to group mails.

Kind regards,

Dr. Kumar Arun

Dear Mr. Kalyan Sundaresan

You are a confused person, so let me educate you.

1) This Dr. Arun Kumar, Anna Hazare, Gen V.K.Singh etc etc are not part of India Against Corruption (IAC).

2) You really have no idea of IAC or what it is or what IAC is doing for nation building. We are not fools to disclose our plans and operations publicly.

3) This mailing list is not directly connected with operational side of IAC or its parent HRA. It is one of many forums used by patriots and HRA to propagate patriotic Indian views and stand of HRA from time to time and educate some people.

4) RTI and consumer nonsense.are a complete waste of time to achieve anything. IAC does not endorse these kind of useless methods.

5) IAC dictates terms all too clearly to political parties which keep begging for our votes.

6) IAC believes in eliminating corruption wherever it is found. Today IAC has just helped in eliminating BJP in Karnataka. Tomorrow IAC can eliminate, say, Congress in Delhi - IAC only decides which is the lesser corruption. IAC is APOLITICAL which means IAC has the best knowledge of local trends and voting patterns down to booth/block levels so that IAC can eliminate maximum corruption with least efforts. Knowledge is power supreme, and our superior knowledge allows IAC to leverage its strength very well indeed.

7) Why should IAC eliminate only 1 or 2 corrupt netas to prove its bonafides to media or anyone else, when we clean them ALL out at regular intervals ??

8) As long as there are institutions like Parliament, Vidhan Sabhas and Courts there will always be corruption. All you people who believe in them and so called "good candidates" and "clean judges" and "honest media" are fools.

9) BJP did not lose Karnataka because of Bellary brothers or Yedu factor, these are only excuses.. BJP had no option but to loot Karnataka to stay as a National Party. As an APOLITICAL person who has poll data at fingertips I say they made a very bad mistake allowing Modi to campaign for BJP in Karnataka. Modi's campaigning cost BJP at least 12 seats in Karnataka which were all transferred to Deve Gowda by 2-6% margins in central Karnataka . Think about it - I am neither pro-Modi nor anti-Modi, I only work with pure numbers.

Dear Dr. Kumar Arun,

That is because, as you rightly visually, the shine on the IAC is dissipating.  IAC Members expected action packed decisions from IAC to root out corruption. Very large, large, medium and small scale corruption is still going on throughout the country daily.  By this time, IAC should have brought to books some corrupt people either Politicians or Others.  Nothing of that sort had happened so far.  IAC is just contended with sending RTI Letters and debating on issues not connected with rooting out  Corruption by exchanging email messages.  By this time, IAC should have developed contacts with atleast 30% of the total Electorates in the Country so that IAC  Members will have a say on the Election and it will create nightmarish impression to corrupt Politicians.  IAC is lacking in action based programmes.  I don't think, it will serve any purpose in rooting out corruption.  Even as a Non-Political Organisation with dedicated Members only with a goal of rooting out Corruption,  IAC can dictate terms to the Political parties. Unfortunately,  the IAC is not functioning on that direction.  Mere writing letters to Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Ms. Sonia Gandhi, Mr. Manmohan Singh, Sri P. Chidambaram, will have any impact on rooting out corruption.  The mails will go their junk box and letters will reach the Dust Bin.

In US, there was one Consumarist by name Radolf Nadar whose presence or appearance in any shop, the Traders afraid.  He buys consumer goods with Bill and Batch No. and send to the Govt. approved Lab. for testing the same.  If the test  failed to meet the specifications mentioned on the label, he will immediately file a case against the Shop Owner for selling spurious consumer goods.  Within a short time, the Consumer Court will decide and the Shop Owner will be booked for selling spurious consumer goods and punished heavily and also impressioned for considerable period.

Such a Consumer Activists are not available in India.  The MRP Regulators, Drug Controllers, Food Cell Inspectors and other Inspectorates to ensure quality products are all most corrupt.  Most of the Consumer goods, we buy are all spurious as there is no mechanism to check their quality, quantity and MRP. The Manufacturers, Marketing Agencies and Regulators of Inspectorates to ensure fair trade are all in connivance with each other.  So, we cannot expect anything other than corruption in the country.

I don't know who is going to bell the cat to root out corruption in the country.

To-day, at Karnataka, Congress is voted to power with thumping majority.  Thanks to BJP misrule.  The Congress is no better than BJP.  But, the Electorate preferred Congress since BJP totally misruled the State with rampant corruption. If BJP is really concerned about corruption, they should have sacked Eddyurappa as CM the movement Scams started pouring/ appearing against him and dissolved the Assembly as they had no majority in the House. Similarly, Reddy Brothers (BJP MLAs from Bellary) have been illegally mining Millions of Tonnes of Iron Ore for many years.  BJP cannot say, they don't know about this.  Because Reddy Brothers are lavishly taking care of BJP bigwigs like Advani, Sushma, Jaitly, etc., etc., BJP pretend to claim ignorance (Reddy Brothers spent more Rs. 200 Crores for a Wedding in their family at Bellary about 4 years back) BJP should have suspended the Reddy Brothers from the Party and distances themselves from them at that time itself.   But, till the Scam exposed by Whistle Blowers, they were continue to be BJP MLAS and still continue to be in BJP.  The Bellary Iron Ore Scam is very much similar  to Coalgate. Now, the BJP is shouting about Coalgate, why they have not reprimanded Reddy Brothers when they started doing illegal iron ore mining and exported.  This Scam is from Taluk/District level to Collector of Central Excise, Sales Tax Authorities, Railways as a Transporter, Port Authorities at Goa, Collector of Customs at Goa, Ship Owner, C& F  Agency who exported the illegally mined Iron Ore etc., etc., , are all involved.  The Booties have been shared by all with the blessings of Department of Mines at Central and State Govts. When the Reddy Brothers lavishly spending at the Wedding and Temples itself is a clear pointer for illegal activities.  Since all concerned were in the payrolls of Reddy Brothers, all concerned pretend to be ignorant of all illegal activities.

To-day,  the BJP paid the price for their alleged ignorance on Reddy Brothers and Yeeyrurappa.

As long as there are no Agencies/Regulators/Inspectorates/Authorities  with impeccable integrity in the Govt.   to question the illegal activities, corruption will continue to go on rampant in the country.
With Best Regards,
A.S.KALYANAM

Dear fellow Bharatiya,

In past two weeks I have received very few mails, nothing like I used to and virtually with
not much enthusiasm for making any significant desire to topple the Sonia-Rahul dynasty.
Does this mean that slowly & gradually all the emotion simply got evaporated in thin air?

Respectfully,

Dr. Kumar Arun

Dear Mr. Malhotra,

i think you understand as well as I do that one can't change others but only self. I never thought
that my cry on the internet or in the room where we gathered for Think Tank Meeting in Noida,
will change any one. However, that is what one can try to make others understand and them to
join the efforts for the better.

Our leader, Retd. Gen. Singh is showing the way for change in the political system. I do hope his
colleagues will extend their support to strengthen his efforts for meaningful change in the system.
I am going to rather take little different task in my hand. As I have mentioned, let us all find another
way to establish unity among Indian veterans. I have been always interested in building a Bharatiya
Veterans Memorial Park close to capital of India. A handful of veterans have shown interest in my
ideas and proposals which becomes a focal point of my efforts, honoring the veterans of India.

I am hoping to unite our veterans under this banner and who knows that may help in changing the
politics in future as well. Would you please send your ideas and opinion on this subject?

Respectfully,

Dr. Kumar Arun

Dear Dr Kumar,

From your last email, I get the feeling that you are some what disappointed with our discouraging responses on Veterans forming a Political party. To begin with, I assure you we all are on the same wave length, to bring in a change to our corrupt Political System & to bring in a better Governance. Your messages are well received & rest assured we all look forward to receiving them & they do reunite all of us.

As I said earlier, we do not yet have the right infrastructure/ funds to fight against the major Political parties but our presents efforts will go a long way to ensure that we bring in the right people in the new Govt. & SARKAR would no longer take public for granted. So we will still have achieved a lot even if no separate elected party in Power. Veterans Gen V.k.singh,Kejriwal & alike, if brought into the Parliament, will be able to make enough noise to scare the corrupts & enlighten citizens to bring in a new Govt. next time round  by sending right messages while sitting amongst the so called Netas.

Not that I am particularly fond of Imran Khan, but that is one example that comes to my mind that, though he appears to be well meaning & is liked by many Pakistan Citizens, have not been able to fight his way out against the well established & powerful Political establishments. As it stands today, we are perhaps in the similar situation BUT TOMORROW BELONGS TO US.

With regards

Jaggi Malhotra

Dear Fellow Bharatiya,

As promised I am back to you to let you know about the summary of the survey (honest feedback).
It is very much evident to me that majority who participated in this survey have rejected the idea
of forming a political "party for veterans". Many are hopeful that some day Retd. gen. V. K. Singh
might emerge one of their best hope who might join the politics and try to create a party with the
help of willing & capable veterans.

For me this chapter is over, I am going to take time to plan anything relevant with careful analysis.
Needless to mention how disappointed I am but the truth prevails. I think God likes the way things
are emerging in the ocean of political India churning process.

My next goal would be to devote my time in associating with those who might have interest in building
an Indian "Veterans Memorial Park". There are some veterans who have already started exploring the
idea of fund raising activities to purchase land within NCR, etc. If you are interested, please let me know.

Dear  Veteran Sadhu Sohi

We already have  Indian Ex-servicemen League (IESL) -Govt outfit under a Brig.

In addition we have Indian Ex-servicemen Movement(IESM) whose chairman is Lt Gen Raj Kadyan (RETD) and Vice Chairman Maj Gen Satbir Singh. They have a proper Organization and leading  One Rank One Pension Movement. We can call General  GODFATHER if you like.Problem is about SONS as not many are available on the ground to give momentum to a movement.

Each district has Soldiers Board-under the  State Govt.If a Govt does have the will to deliver nothing can be done except to change the regime and have some of ex-servicemen in the new setup.

THANKS AND WARM REGARDS,

WING COMMANDER S K VIG  (RETD)
