you can file FIR as well complaint with economic offenses wing In case Police authorities refuse to register FIR please request them to give acceptance of complaint Please give 48 hours time to reply you since 48 hours time is given to them to look into complaint and for investigation of allegations in the complaint. Supreme Court gave directions to register FIR in cognizable offenses within 48 after receipt of complaint(refer order passed by SCI in "Lalita Kumari Vs State of Uttar pradesh year 2008)" You may also file private complaint with Chief Juidicial Magistrate for obtaining directions to police under section 156(3) or under Section 202 of Criminal procedure code 1973 to investigate into allegation mentioned in complaint and to file report before the court. viadya --- On Mon, 3/12/12, M.K.
