Corruption is when some one tries to jump the Q.

I see corruption as any secret or sometimes, brazen perversion of the stated nature of something - usually changing it to exploit another or a system at the gain of self. So the sand added to rice at a grocers is also corruption, practicing ideas (discrimination) that are not a part of accepted laws is corruption and the multi trillion dollar (soon, I guess :( ) scam is also corruption.

To me, fighting corruption is about fighting unequal and undue appropriation of power and establishing the rule of the law - the basic expectation of citizens in following the law and allowing a coherent society.

Many kinds of corruption don't jump the "Q" IMO. They are important to combat too. Sometimes more, because money is only one part of what we need to be safe. Safety from harm is fundamental. Safety from hate from own parents ought to be guaranteed, like in many animals. Alas.
