to get PAN numbers from the Income Tax Deptt also, letter signed by
Politicians like Municipal Councillor, MLA, MP etc is sufficient. Any
Gazetted Officer also can issue the Certificate of Identity and
Address to obtain a PAN card.
To get Ration Card, i had seen at bahadurgarh, Haryana that, all the
Certificates and Signature of present Municipal Councillor is
necessary, after that at least 2 weeks to let the Deptt do their
investigations - however a Politician of opposition, had submitted a
form without any documents and signature of present Councillor and on
the spot the Ration Card was issued to the beneficiary of that
application.
These all i write to say that, it is the Politicians who control the
India - they are also Gazetted officers, after each elections their
names are declared through the Gazettes. Their signature is valid for
all purposes.
Bye.
