Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi alias Noble soul Gandhi, alias Father of our nation was stated to ave led the nation but, many who were eye witness to to his movement , who survive even today vouch that even he could not evoke cent per cent participation from people of India. He may have secured participation by about 30% of Indian population & rest were fence sitters who were ready to hold winning bullock's tail!
At that time, white skinned Englishman was a common enemy . Today in India we have large polarisation. Repeat of Independece movement like upsurge is only a distant dream.
Anna Hazare does not have the charisma not equanimity which was attributed to Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi. Gandhi was abar at law from London & he had succeeded moderately in fighting apartheid in South Africa in one of his attempts. This cannot be attributed to Anna Hazare or any of his team mates!
Mob or crowd does not have any athics or principles or goals, A true vleader will not lead crowd or mobs but dedicated, motivated followers. Today, it is hard to come by. I am not a fool to jump into self suicidal attempt just because you pledge your support on an e-mail message.
i am not an optimist for this venture!
