[HumJanenge] Re: URGENT: Concerning Full Bench in pending CIC/AD/A/2012/000570 and another

Karira,

This means that there are atleast 3 cases which have been referred to large bench, including our case which has been referred to large bench but there is no action on the same.

RTI query on the same has elicited no response..

When asked in general about all cases which has been referred to large bench, PKP Shreyaskar replied no information is maintained. Anita Gupta, expectedly, also agreed with the same.

When asked in another RTI about our case specifically, response from Vijay Bhalla is still awaited. Apparently, they do not want to provide this informaiton.

Regards.

Mr Sarbajit,

By the way, there was a full bench hearing today (06 Aug) at the Old JNU campus.
CIC SM was also there for the hearing.
This was the continuation of the hearing held two weeks ago.
Matter related to R K Gupta v/s Income Tax
No info available anywhere.

As per Sec 4(1)(b)(ii) disclosure on the CIC website, Mr PKP Shreyaskar is
responsible for monitoring the CIC website  - just in case you
need to complain against him for "not performing the
duties and functions", assigned to him.

8. Deputy Secretary/Joint
Registrar

RTI matter in jurisdiction of CIC,
Monitoring of all the disciplinary cases
recommended by the Commission,
Monitoring of website of the Commission, In
charge of all the data which is generated and
maintained by the Commission, Weekly
meeting of the IC's preparation of minutes of
the meeting of the Commission,
Parliamentary questions, Coordination with
the State Information Commissions.

I have done so twice and also sent two "REMINDERS" - but there has been no change
in the contents of the website since the last 3 months.

They have not even updated the "work distribution" after IC (SG) left.
http://www.cic.gov.in/CIC_Circulars/Work-Allocation-13032012.pdf

The last time at the CIC, I was literally begging for a copy of the new allocation.
Couldn't get one - was only told verbally that matters related to the CIC will now
be heard by IC MLS.

Even the Monthly disposal figures available here :

http://www.cic.gov.in/Reports/MPR-Apr12.htm

are only till April 2012 while the CIC own website says:

http://cic.gov.in/CIC-Minutes/Minutes17072012.pdf

That the Commission discussed the June receipt/disposal figures on 17 July 2012.

The question is why our Right to Know is being blocked (and delayed) when
it concerns the Apex Body's own website ?
