Dear Friends,
I am witnessing some lively debate in this group about corruption, democracy and governance. What I would like to say that the heart of the problem in :NATURE OF POLITICS". Once you set right the politics, other reforms are possible. I would urge my coulligues in this group to go through the attached book let, which analysis the root causes of the roblem and suggests some of the soultions. Hope you will enjoy reading this.
Having realised that the root cause of the proble is Nature of Politics, Lok Satta Movement (NGO from 1996) launched Lok Satta Party (from 2006) to push effective/good leaders in to politics so that suggested political rforms can be achieved.

First of many of us did not opt to become members of this new RTI group. Mails are being sent to our office and personal addresses without our consent. I had sent a request to unsubscribe my personal id but the moderator has not complied with my request and continues to send emails and digests from both humjanenge@googlegroups.com and rti4empowerment group. As if such compulsion is not enough we have to suffer emails which use foul language targetting everybody. Now the Constitution is being targetted in the same manner. Everybody has a right to be critical of other people's views, the Constitution and all other laws, but abusive language may be avoided. These comments are being made in a public discussion forum without realising that other members may feel offended even to receive such mails in their Inboxes. Kindly avoid using abusive language to express your views. It serves no purpose except showing the sender in poor light.ThanksVenkatesh NayakOn Thu, Nov 11, 2010 at 10:24 PM, <HumJanenge+noreply@googlegroups.com> wrote:

Col Kurup is spot on. You don't need a "Constitutional lawyer" <rol> to explain why the ground reality does not map to the Constitution. BTW its only the Marxists who stand for the piece of crap that our much amended Constitution now is.
PS: Can you inform the Hon'ble members the precise "Constitutional" posts that Ms Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi occupy ???.
