[HumJanenge] Ramanand Tiwari the Information Commissioner

The Maharashtra State Information Commissioner Ramanand Tiwari's
involvment in the Adarsh housing scam is nothing new. In the past his
wife also an IAS officer along with 26 other IAS officers were members
of Gayatri ccoperative housing society. The land beloning to a
government insitaiton - Maharashtra Institute of Hotel Management
locted in the posh Model Colony in Shivajinagar area was quitely
grabbed by the IAS officers and bought at extremly cief rates in 2004.

Using the then Maharashtra Right to Informaton Act, I was able to get
all dcouments relating to the illegal land grab by the 27 IAS oficers.
This land scam story was published in several newspaper, resulting in
the Divsional Commissioner Bapu Karandikar holding a inquiry, whichled
to the squashing of the land rights to the housing society and
returning the land to the orignal owners.

So, the Adarsh housing scam is a second involvement of Tiwari in such
scam. Morever, a brash and arrogant former bureaucrat, he has been a
failure as Informaton Commissioner. He doesn't listen and understands
the point of view of the RTI Appellant, and goes to give a deicsion in
favor of the government officails, though black and white and
transparently clear it is known that the government officails were
guilty.

So if if go by the rule of the law of the country, then those involved
in the scams need to be sent to the jail without bail.
