RE: [IAC#RG] HAPPY NEWS FOR RTI ACTIVISTS

The New Attempt by courts in respect all Queries is that RTI applies only to Admin Aspects of Courts and RTI does not Apply to Judicial Aspect of Courts . Well You know that any attempts in Appeal goes to Gourts only and you will miserably Fail there

Dear Sir,

Courts are flooded because of wrong practices. Crime is taking place 24*7 but our courts do not work for even 4 hrs per day. Set up CCTV cameras and see the result for yourself. Also:

a)      Why someone in the law ministry or the High Court not asking the judges reasons for delay in solving the cases?

b)      Why fresh date is given without a valid reason?

c)       Why there is no fine imposed in case the accused or the witness, abstain themselves from a hearing?

d)      Why should the hearing of the case be postponed because of a farewell party of a judge or strike by advocates. Advocates of District Court, Greater Noida are on strike since 15 Feb. Why should the Public suffer?

e)      Why the system cannot be streamlined and made efficient for the good of the public?

Regards

Rakesh Sant

Courts are flooded with cases because they are not serving the expectations of public. A citizen demand information because he has doubt about the working of a public authority. The day when he will be assured that their servants are functioning properly  he will require no more information.

Courts resist RTI because it would open a can of worms into their own corrupt affairs.

In fact a working rule used by experts is - the Higher the RTI application / further fees the more "corrupt" the Court.

For example, hypothetically,
Supreme Court - Rs. 10
Delhi High Court Rs. 50
Allahabad High Court - Rs. 500
and so on.

These are not about absolute corruption, but relative corruption (on an exponential scale).
That is to say the degree of corruption in the Allahabad High Court is approx. 3.3 times that of Delhi High Court is 2.5 times that in the SC or so the self-proclaimed experts opine.

How many High Courts even have their judges assets declarations on the website ?
The next step is drilling if these are correct or fabricated.

Should the courts be allowed to spend time on settling the large accumulation of cases pending with them or spend thei precious time on answering a flood of quarries they will now receive.

Dear Mr. Chowdhary

Thanks for posting Mr. Karira's document.

Mr. Karira's CIC complaint of 2010 shows the fine and selfless work the present management of the IAC movement like Mr. Karira (IAC's Gen Sec) are still carrying out silently against the High Courts and the Supreme Court.
