Dear Jitendra
Thanks for your email. You have posed some very interesting questions,
I do hope that what passes for IAC Mumbai - Mayank Gandhi, Preeti
Sharma etc will reply to you eventually. If so please share it to this
mailing list also. which BTW is now going out to 12,000+ subscribers
and will touch 30,000 by next month.
You have failed to understand either Anna or Arvind or their methods.
Yesterday Arvind took up electricity in Delhi, today he takes up
arrested farmers in Maharashtra., Tomorrow he may take up plight of
prostitutes in Sonagachhi. In other word he is emulating Mamata
Bannerjee, who would arrive on the scene of wherever there is tension
with her bloodstained bandage and glycerine tears all ready to display
before television cameras.
Some people seem to think that media is the only weapon left for
activists. This is complete nonsense - media is the Enemy #3 for
activists. The prime weapon for activists is the Government itself.
When such a powerful weapon falls exclusively into hands of persons
who misuse it (Aruna Roy, Arvind Kejriwal, Anna Hazare) etc, the
country is doomed.
Tell me, do you sincerely believe that Arvind Kejriwal and Medha
Patkar who are regularly financed by TATAs have no conflict of
interest when it comes to fighting a Tata Power in Delhi or a Tata
Electric in Lonavala ?
Let me tell you what the head of Tata Power's Bijli Theft Unit told me
when Arvind reconnected those people before the media - the people who
were reconnected are regular 'bijli' thieves with 42 pending notices
against them who are buying stolen power from a Congress MP. The
"linesman" Solanki who accompanied Arvind is a regular employee of
that politician (whose bijli theft earns him not less than 300 crores
every month 1/2 of which goes to Party funds (Sonia/Shiela), rest
divided between TTPL, cops, and his profit).
Best Wishes
Sarbajit
