KEJRIWAL ACCUSING MEDIA - POT CALLING KETTLE BLACK
Those who have been following Kejriwal and his politics in a dispassionate manner doubt that Kejriwal's hands may not be clean. Many people suspect justifiably about the source of funds of AAP and he has not yet given any convincing explanation. His appointment of number of persons as parliamentary secretaries to the ministers in Delhi government clearly indicate that he wants to confer benefits on his MLAs , so that they will not desert him. Obviously, so many persons are not needed to govern a small state like Delhi . It appears that lofty ideals that he has professed so far in public are only to hoodwink the people and get the votes.
The recent turmoil in AAP and his throwing out some founders of the party conclusively prove that Kejriwal is like any other politician in the country. Before the election, he was the beneficiary of the publicity given to him by the TV media , which many believe was extended to him by the media undeservingly for whatever reasons.
Now, when TV media has started questioning his methods and approach, he accuses the TV media. While many do not think that TV media is above board, Kejriwal accusing media is similar to pot calling kettle black.
Kejriwal is now seen as one more politician climbing to power by adopting gimmicks and giving false hopes to the people about commitment and performance. Even within a few days of coming to power, Kejriwal is losing the shine all too quickly.
The politician in power can do well and stay in position for long, if he has the genuine quality of concern in him for the people and attributes for providing quality administration. Otherwise, his reputation would stand demolished soon, as it has happened to hundreds of other politicians in India. Kejriwal appears to be one more disappointment in the Indian political scenario.
