I think Mr sarabjit Roy has asked very pertinent and relevant questions. and these must cross the mind of every right thinking person that if it is the duty of the State administration to provide proper security to the campaigning leaders, why was it not provided?. Moreover, the danger from the Naxals should be equal and across the board to all political parties. Why only Congress and not the ruling outfit which should logically be the target.
The public memory being short and people will forget this like any other mishap. Moreover, I do not think that there is any worthwhile Congress leader is left to fight the forthcoming election in the state, .otherwise the sympathy vote will definitely go in favour of the Congress as it will be seen as the failure on the part of the BJP government, wilful or otherwise. Dear Vidhyadharan Ms. Teesta posed a simple question which many people want the answer to. Chattisgarh has a BJP Govt led by a seasoned BJP CM now looking for his third term. People have a right to question if the massacre of half the States' main opposition leadership was a deliberate act on part of BJP govt acting in collusion with extremists. Was the denial of security by the BJP a device to ensure that Congress cannot campaign in the State and only BJP leaders Narendra Modi can do so when elections are due? This is similar to what happened during Rajiv Gandhi assassination also. First DMK arranged meetings between LTTE and Rajiv to convince Rajiv that he could safely campaign and then they murdered him. Everyone knows that BJP's leaders and Maoists have a close working understanding in certain states - directly or indirectly - which is hugely boosting their coffers, and in the face of which the Karnataka mining scandal is nothing. FYI VC Shukla was a CM of MP and also I&B Minister during Emergency. Sarbajit "Apolitical" On 5/26/13, vidyadharanmp@yahoo.com <vidyadharanmp@yahoo.com> wrote: > Modi seems to be your only agenda.
