Correct, but it is common knowledge that these MP's can be bribed to ask the convenient questions and pass bills.
Is it difficult for you to acknowledge that there is a problem which has now been brought out to an unprecedented level. Passing a bill that protects the corrupt would not hve served the purpose. Even if it is assumed that the IAC is corrupt as you claim, if a stronger bill results from it, it would be a step, albeit small, in the right direction.
With due respect, we would love to hear about a plan of action you might have, to wipe out corruption. If you want to suggest that all citizens stop paying bribes, please do enlighten us how that awakening can be brought about.
Cheers
Harjaap

Politicians are not required to be trustworthy, unlike lawyers who are so required (fiduciary).
Parliament is meant to make laws. Who would you rather have make / debate / discuss laws, professionally educated and qualified lawyers OR people like Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal whose sole (misguided) slogan is "Parliament is servant of some nebulous conception of "people""?

Dear Sh Srinivasan ji, people like you who advised the Govt as u r doing have all been grounded to dust. Kapil Sibal, Dr Abhishek Singhvi, Mr Chindram and so. They all had one thing in common, lawyers. Saner people like the PM, Pranab Mukherjee, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj nd so on have shown true statesmanship by acknowledging that yes it is the people who have sent us to serve them nd if we do not live up to the expectations, people would throw us out so badly that our political career will go I the dust any time.Warm regards,

Anna Ha,teh bra nd ambassador for Gandhi Cap which Gandhi himself abandoned, and his branded T Shirts has in a sense torpedoed the constitution.A case in the SupremeCourt after the lokpal bill of ANNA is passed will establish this,Kiran Bedi would have been the first to arrest him and prevent his gathering if in power as police officer has joined the band wagon .The indiscriminate use of the National Flag as if it is a party flag is in violation of the National Flag Act as it borders on disrespect.
The ultimate sufferer will be the poor lower level bureaucrat who will be an easy target and cannot defend himself. under the popular lokpal Bill
God Save the Country,
R.Srinivasan(Advocate)

Dear Mr. Rahul Gandhi: In your speech today in parliament you said that Janlokpal bill in itself will not remove corruption.Thats what we are also saying. Thats why in addition to LP bill,-- Election reforms wherein anyone who is charge sheeted should be barred from standing for elections-- Revoke the Single Point Directive-- Make CBI independent-- Increase the number of judges 3 or five-fold as per Law Commission recommendations of many years ago-- Suitable amendments to Evidence Act, CrPC, CPC, etc. to balance the rights of the aggrieved V/s the rights of the accused-- Police reforms as per the orders of SC many years ago--Withdrawal of the principle King Can Do No Wrong-- Enact specific Law of Torts against the wrongs of the state and its agents-- Etc.RegardsVictor
