"The respondent states that since the Commission had ordered that the compensation should be paid and recovered from the salary of the responsible officer the department in its own inefficient matter has taken 05 months to fix the responsibility on the appropriate officers. They have prepared a cheque of Rs.2000/- in the name of Ms. Aamna. The Commission directs the PIO to send this cheque to the Complainant by hand before 18 August 2011. The Commission also points out that the compensation cheques should have been sent as per the order of the Commission and the decision to fix responsibilityand deduct the amount from the concerned officers salary could have been later on"
