the system we have today...where even a minor parking dispute with a
misters son can be your own " public beaten to death experience" ???
The Chinese legal system may be skewed but could not be as bad as
ours....they seem to do whatever they do more blatantly & we all get
a CNN view of things . Bhushan in his petition says 50% of the CJI's
have been corrupt , he has not been held for contempt of court ....and
argues cases in front of the judges he accuses of corruption. We all
know how it works lower down.
The non acceptance of complaints by police , no easy FIRs , shoddy
investigations , destruction of clues , false postmortems & forensic
reports , a shoddy criminal persecution , lawyers who can get a
"judgement delivered".....the truth has to face many a hurdles here &
generally gets knocked down at the first .
A swift , quick , hard punishment may not be that bad at all till the
sinking ship is rightened .
There is a far bigger cost to the society now.... the ordinary hapless
citizen is in perpetual scare of the criminal controlled police-
judicial system .....it is all of us who are at risk ....a well known
ex-cricketer got beaten up black & blue by the guards of the Haryana
Home Minister a few days back for slowing down his motorcade . Don't
get in to the big guys way next time.....Abhijit...Take Care ....or
you might meet your vigilante justice on the road ....
